Keith Peltier is the new chairman and Mark Birdsall is the new vice chairman of the board. Peltier, who is in his second term, joined the board in 2012 after being appointed to fill an unexpired term. This is Birdsall's first term on the board.The men join continuing members Sen. Pedro was born on January 27, 1995, in Fargo, ND, to Pedro Ruiz Jr. and Virginia M. Ramirez. He lived with his mom and sisters in McAllen, TX, and later with his grandmother Maria V. Martinez, before moving to North Dakota to live with his foster parents, Sara & Rick Almer. He attended school in Fargo and graduated from West Fargo High School. After high school he started working for BNSF Railroad, where he had been employed for the last four years.Pedro met MonaLisa Perez in 2012 and fell in love, had their first child, Aaliyah Virginia Ruiz in 2014, and are expecting their second child in September. He loved his family time, being one of the most important things  he valued. Just hanging out and sharing meals with family and watching movies. Pedro also loved music. It was everything to him, when he was happy, mad, sad, he would turn on his music for relaxation. He always said his peace was driving and listening to music.
